This bread is kind of my own "invention." It is the only homemade wheat bread that works for me.

Honey Wheat Oatmeal Bread

Ingredients:
Just under 1/4 C Brown Sugar
1 t Sugar
1 T Powdered Milk
1 ½ t Salt
½ Cup Quick Cook Oatmeal
2 T 8 Grain Cereal (optional)

1 ½ Cups warm water (50 seconds in microwave)
2 T Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 T Honey
2 T Gluten Flour
1 ½ Cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 ½ Cups White Bread Flour
3 t granulated yeast (regular or fast rising)

Add 1st 6 ingredients to bread machine.
Add the rest of the ingredients in the order listed.

Set on knead cycle, then dough remove at the end of the cycle, divide into 2 equal portions and place in 4X8 loaf pans that have been greased with a small amount of extra virgin olive oil.
Brush olive oil on top of dough and let rise about 1 to 1 1/4 hours in a warm place until doubled. I place them in an oven that has been heated to about 85 - 90 degrees F.
Bake in 375 F. Oven for 25 minutes. Remove from pans and place on a wire rack until thoroughly cooled. Slice and enjoy.
