This is supposed to be a preference poll, not a prediction poll....

Hmmm....the only appropriate response for me would be

X Oh, there's a world series on right now? ;)

Wilson,

Cards all the way! Humbly, I admit that this World Series could be pathetic with a sweep of the Cards by the Tigers, but I hope and pray it shall not be so. If they are not swept, I predict that the series will go more than four games. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Listen, I've been a Cards fan since the late 50's. My hero was Kenny Boyer at 3rd base. He was Mr. Consistency and came through on many clutch occasions. Those were the days, but these days are pretty good too!

Around the horn...Bill White, Julien Javier, Julio Gotay, Kenny Boyer and Tim McCarver. Outfield, early, Stan the Man. Curt Flood was outstanding among others. He is the free agency king. Ah, what memories.

As a young kid I remember tuning in to KM/N(?)OX in St. Louis. Since I was a Nazarene I had to turn down the beer commercials. If I didn't, it seemed to put somewhat of a curse on the Cards.

Who could forget Harry Caray and Jack Buck, even if he did turn traitor and go to the Cubbies. Serves him right!

Friend,

Wes

World Series.... That's baseball, right? ;-)

When not otherwise committed, I always vote for the southernmost U.S. team. ;-)

I'm with Nelson -- Tigers. But my guess is it'll be in 7.
