Just got back from my third "Jane Austen" night this year.

We have had two at the church, but tonight one of the ladies had us over for dinner and we watched "Emma" afterwards.

We have also watched "Sense & Sensiblity" and "Pride & Prejudice".

If you are not familiar with these three movies, I highly recommend them. They are based (obviously) on Jane Austen's books (who wrote in the 17th century) so they really are a good pick for a fun women's night.

They are clever and witty....nice little romances...but nothing that you wouldn't want your grandmother to see.

The Jane Austen Society is having a weekend gathering at a "fancy" resort here in Tucson, and I am helping create the centerpieces of fresh flowers for each table -- something like 100 centerpieces. It is going to be a lot of fun and a lot of work. It is next Saturday -- ALL DAY long - for their dinner on Saturday night. They expect a very large crowd......

I absolutely loved the lastest Pride and Prejudice movie
came home from Shannon's and read the book..

Great book..especially once i saw the movie

DonalSutherland was classic as the Dad..

and whoever played Eliizabeth..captured my heart

it would have been so difficult to live in that era
