I am starting a thread on how I use NazNet that others might want to contribute to. One reason for doing this is that I think we have a lot of users who have never taken time to explore some of the possibilities for customizing the user experience here.
Feel free to add your "How I use NazNet" tips to this thread!

How I arrive at NazNet...
Some of you just go to www.naznet.com
Others have bookmarked www.naznet.com/community
When I come to NazNet I arrive at the "New Posts" page...the url for it is:
http://www.naznet.com/community/search.php?do=getnew
I just created a bookmark (favorite) for that page -- so the first thing I see is all the new posts that have been added since my last visit.
I scroll down through the new posts, read what looks interesting (returning to the "New Posts" page after reading each time.)
Then, when I have looked at everything that is interesting, I click on "Quick Links" and select "Mark Forums Read" before going about my day.
Then, the next time I come, I come to the "New Posts" page and start all over again. I think it is the easy way to keep up with NazNet!

Making NazNet look the way I want it to look.
There are default settings for NazNet - that creates a "generic" profile that governs what views of NazNet they see when they first register. I guess some folks are happy with that view, but I customised it to suit myself.
Customizing NazNet starts in the User CP -- linked at the top of about every page. Click on that, and then Edit Options.
Scroll down to the section with Thread Display Options. From there, try different views till you find the one that suits you.
For me it is: Linear, Newest First
I know that most people don't use that view because I see them saying things like, "The post above mine says..."
Since I have the newest at the top it is easier for me to see the latest additions to the threads.

I use the "Greenish" skin.
The "Georgia" font face.
And a font color of "Dark Olive Green."
That kind of stuff makes your posts stand out! One word of caution on Font Colors -- you might want to look at your posts using the various "skins" - if you pick a font color that is the same as the skins' background color -- well, your posts will look like blank pages to those using that particular skin!
