Wow! I don't know what you did, Scott, but it worked!! Thanks!

Beth, I especially like the macro shots. Beautiful! What camera (and in case of a DSLR, what lens) do you use? I can't read the EXIF information.

Thanks for your kind words, everyone. I have a Canon EOS Rebel XT with just the standard 18-55 mm lens. I'd like to get a better lens in the future. I love my camera but still have much to learn about it.

I took this photo of a little gecko who was on my side-view mirror Sunday. I compelled my husband to remove him to safer ground before I pulled out on the highway! He owes me his life!!

Tell me about it! I'm learning on an almost daily basis.

Anyway, the Rebel XT is a great camera, Canon sold incredible numbers of that specific one. As to another lens, I'm very happy with my 18-200 VR, but Canon don't have a comparable lens (yet) for some reason.
Sigma has annouced an 18-200 with Image Stabilisation. They'll produce one for Canon too. You might want to check on that one in the future.

Thanks for the lens suggestion. I'll look into it!

I love taking photos almost as much as I enjoy teaching piano. Right now it doesn't pay like piano lessons does.

When I grow up, I want to be a photographer. Do you think that there will be any good opportunities in the Retirement Home?? (Grin)
