and some have different color variations, and at this time of the year you can watch as the leaves float down, directed by which ever way the wind blows. Sometimes it seems that some people's lives are just like that. There seems to be no single direction in which they are headed. One of the items that God gives us when we receive His wonderful salvation, is something to live for, a hope, an assurance, and a loving guiding hand for those times we arent sure which way to go.
Out in the country, where all you see is fields and cows, there have been a few times we have come to a fork in the road. There were no signs telling us which way to town, only signs like 450 N or 550 S. There were no gas stations on the corner to get advise. There was no one else driving ahead of us to follow. Since I cant understand "cow language" there was no use asking them!
My Master is now the Good Shepherd, and if we allow Him, He will gently lead us along in the correct paths and highways of life, protecting us and maybe at times carrying us over the rocky places. There are rocky places of misunderstanding, of disappointment, of sorrow, of tragedy, and right in time, our Good Shepherd picks us up, cradling us in His arms of Love.
During this day, my wish for all of you is to know His direction, and to feel His arms underneath you, and to know that He loves you!
