Just discovered an author by the name of Jennifer Chiaverini. I am reading "The Quilter's Legacy" right now, part of a series called the "Elm Creek Quilts" books.

I am not a quilter but love the book so far. It's a nice light read.

Blurb: Imparts a healthy dollop of history in a folksy style, while raising moral questions in a suspenseful narrative

Thought I would recommend the series.

Blessings,
Barbara

Miss Barbara: I have heard that series was a good one. As a quilter I love to read history about quilts and origins and just light no brainer stuff.

I've noted the author and when I have time, yea right, I'll get it to read.

I read that book several weeks ago and am now reading
The Runaway Quilt and I have The Master Quilter in reserve to read. IK just rell in love with her writing style. Makes me want a real place like Elm Creek.

I do believe so Barabara. Two great minds in two different places serving the same God. Wonder what other similar tastes we share?:basic03
