I can't imagine the pain for this man and his family. He tried to save his wife when she choked on cereal. As a result, he spent 12 years in jail, wrongfully convicted of strangling her.

Wrongful convictions burn within my being.

This deeply grieves my spirit.

This is so sad. Here, when they'd lost their mother, the kids also had to suddenly do without both parents, because of their dad being wrongfully convicted ... sad, when he could have [were justice served] been there for them.

Reminded me, while reading this, too, of a show that was on for awhile this summer [don't think it's still on ... don't know] called, I think, "INjustice," about folks wrongfully convicted. I'm definitely NOT one to get into drama such as this; it seemed the type of program I usually will immediately turn off, but somehow --- upon hearing its content --- it caught my attention, as I never could tolerate injustice much. Recall years ago, even, how I was quite a "crusader," I guess you could say ... fighter for the "underdog" ... would try to lobby [wondered about doing it officially ;) ] for justice when I'd hear of something just not kosher. Tho' I've mellowed a lot since then, that program definitely caught my attention when I heard about it, unlike any dramatic [rather than comedic] type program has in years & years.
