....Thanks , Marsha , for making us aware of this article. I am a devoted reader of Gordon Mc Donald......his words about the inner assassin are powerful .I fear that we too often pass it off by simply saying " get sanctified " and that will all be taken care of. There are some inner turmoils that are so deep and so troublesome that they need long term professional diagnosis and help .
Mc Donald's fear that the evangelical movement has been severely compromised , is I think , accurate. I am not going to get into an argument or discussion here about politics. But I am sickened by the too easy wedding of politics and religion that we too often see ( and , in many places , advocate ).
