I wish there was a way to control (turn on/off) which posts I'd rather NOT receive e-mail notifications from.

Within the past month I have contributed/posted to someone else's post and am now - multiple times daily - receiving email notifications...and I wish there was a way to turn those off - yet leave others on.

If this makes sense, you might want to consider professional counseling.

search as I may I do not see how I can turn off email notifications for specific threads.

If you choose to stop receiving email notifications from a thread, you can turn off the option by either editing your post, or by unsubscribing from the thread here (http://www.naznet.com/community/subscription.php?do=viewsubscription).

Or if you don't want to come here to click on "here" every time you want to unsubscribe from a thread, simply go to the thread and look on the righthand side right above the thread for "thread tools". One of the choices on that menu is either subscribe or unsubscribe, depending on your current status on that thread. Clicking there will take you to the same place.
