Has anyone made a new dish for Thanksgiving? We need something new and exciting this year!

Try a "turduckin"
A turkey, stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken, comes by the way of Texas.

Have you every baked apples and sweet potatoes together? Just mix apple chunks and sweet potato chunks together and put in a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Dot with pats of butter.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes a nice variation on sweet potatoes.

I mix crushed pineabble with mashed sweet potatoes, add brown sugar and butter. It is wonderful.

I saw that on Paula's Home Cooking on The Food Network.
