We looked at 400+ do you have any more?
Lovely pictures, made us want to go there.
My husband would like to know what breed the red bulls are?
Where were the landscape of villages taken?
The mushrooms were very interesting.
Looks like you two had a great time.

Well, we cut down from 750............

Yes, I actually do. They are called Highlanders and they are originally from Scotland.
Where were the landscape of villages taken?
It is all in the southern part for the province of Limburg, roughly between the cities of Maastricht and Aachen, apart from those in the "Hoge Kempen". That is a national park in Belgium, to the northwest of Maastricht. See the map, I've put a red dot on the area where we were.

Yes we did. It was a wonderful time.

I see that even there, they have the tile roofs! My wife is a secretary for a commercial roofing company that has done quite a few commercial buildings downtown Chicago, and they say those tile roofs are expensive but last for years and years, I suppose almost as long as the old slate ones lasted.

I like to view the pictures as a slideshow but I couldn't figure out what to do at this site . Its different from what you have used before . Is there a way to do it or do I have to click for each and centre it each time as well ? I'm nearly certain there has to be a way around this . Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know about centring but there is a way to show them as a slideshow.
Go to the first picture (or any other), open it. When you are in a page with just one picture, click on the button in the top right corner. And there you go!

It is true. My former house was from 1906 and still had the original tiles on it. Most houses in the Netherlands will have tiles. Our current one does too.

That worked just fine . I don't remember seeing that yesterday when I began looking at them but it could hasve been because I had F11 'ed and with full screen it may not have been there . Cut a little off all the pictures but I enjoyed them . So peaceful and serene . Never seen so many types of mushrooms .
When I was in Scotland in '83 I was looking all over for those Highland cattle and finally found some to get pictures of at Oban only to discover on returning home and showing my pictures to my doctor in the early morning hours after she had delivered a baby to have her say " that looks like Olive and Oriole " . Here just 15 miles away were a pair of Highland cattle !Saw then shortly thereafter .
Thanks again for sharing .

I really enjoyed them.
All of them.
It is so neat to be able to see other places than our own in this wonderful world.
