This thread (post) relates to how i have not waited on the Lord..have run before Him..and in the past with my impulsive nature, i have created problems or made situations worse

here is my lesson the Lord taught me this week on the Power of waiting on Him

Slow to respond has proven a blessing to this mom and ex wife
I received a one page letter from John complaining that Kris has had no contact with him since his last visit prior to Kris move to Wyoming in September. John has written Kris three letters with no responses. My first response was, Kris is selfish and could he not just at least write his dad a quick note? I had penned a scolding letter to Kris, however with Veteran Day no mail went out. So the Lord has rescued this impulsive reactionary mother.
as just yesterday in a phone call I expressed my opinion to Tom (my son-in-love) who had a different view. His advice was sound. This ole' mother listened attentively and considered his wisdom.

This morning Kris visited per phone and added sound reasons for his reticence to write his dad.
This all belongs to Kris. And this mom listened. And I have thrown the letter away, thanking the Lord for His timing and the wisdom He revealed thru my two sons

Now I have learned that it is not my place to run interference for the father of my son.

And have learned a lesson. The power of waiting on the Lord
