Yes, I watched it again. I am equally horrified and facinated by it.

This time it showed a woman who had her tubes tied yet still gave birth. Apparently, there is a 1 in 300 chances of this occuring. She had given birth twice before. But because she had scratched out that possibility, she never recognized that the bizarre events in her life were due to pregnancy.

Even though the tubes had been cut, they grew back together again providing the 47 year old a chance to be a mother again. Wild....

Reminds me of a patient we had 35 years ago (not in Arizona).....she had undergone a tubal ligation several years before she started having odd symptoms -- missing periods, morning sickness...."if I didn't know better, I would think I was pregnant." Well, she was pregnant. 4 months. Her husband was in the room when the doctor told her. "What are we going to do?" she said to her husband....."We'll love a new baby pretty soon." was his reply -- so very sweet. I was hoping that I would have a husband like that someday.....in my 18-year-old mind.....it was a sweet scene to watch play out before me.....

Here's an article about two women who didn't know they were pregnant. (http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/05/health/living-well/pregnant-no-symptoms/index.html?hpt=hp_c1)
