Losing weight.

As I mentioned before, I've lost the same 25 pounds three times in my life. Then it creeps back up. But I always found it fairly easy to lose weight if I put my mind to it and stuck to my diet.

This time, I have adjusted my eating habits, gone low fat and and cut out snacks and goodies. I have been going on the treadmill almost every day.

After a month, down only 7 pounds.

I guess it really is true that it is harder to lose weight when you are over 40 :-)

Try losing it over 50, it gets even harder. But then I'm not trying (but should) maybe that's my problem.

Doris

Just keep up the good work, it will come off.

Barbara,

7 pounds in 1 month is a very healthy rate to lose. That is about 1.5-2 pounds per week...which is suggested. I know, it FEELS slow, but studies indicate that when weight is lost slowly, it is less likely to come back on.

Miss Barbara: I agree with Sara. That is a very healthy, best way, to loose weight. Yes your metablism has changed. Drink 8-10 8 ounce glasses of water a day too. It does help. If you drink any products with caffeine in it, you may want to wean off them. Caffeine, for me, is my stimulant for over eating.

Here is to a new you and keep up the good work.
