One unique feature is that there will be two Sunday morning worship services.

Yeah, that surprised me. It also changes one of the dynamics for choosing location. It there are two services on Sunday AM we no longer need a facility that seat 30,000+. This would open up all kinds of cities to consideration. Any City that has a space to seat 15,000+ should be open to consideration. (Well at least on that point)

I think they liked the ability to use the convention space for worship in Orlando and figured out how to do it in Indy. At this point there's a lot of options for hosting - but we still need a convention space big enough to house the actual assembly meeting. You can't do it in a basketball arena without some major complications.

Terrific idea! I'll be heading for the early service.

BTW, the article is 300, not 131.

300. The General Assembly is the supreme doctrine-formulating,
lawmaking, and elective authority of the Church
of the Nazarene, subject to the provisions of the church Constitution.
(31.1-1.9)

131 says:

131. Meaning of Stewardship. Refer to paragraphs 38-8.5.

Hans, WOW! I am impressed. You ought to be the editor for GMC news releases. Or at least guardian of the manual. :smilies0161:
