One of our neighbor's has this inflated/lit CHICKEN in their front yard.

Would someone please tell me where that idea originated.

Was there a chicken in the Bethlehem manger scene that I somehow missed?

HELP ME!

I can't believe I found this picture on NazNet.::basic05
What a Hoot!
I was driving up the street last night and saw this same inflatable. I did a double take and then circled the block. I still couldn't figure it out.:rolleyes:
I was going to go back again tonight, but this picture has given me a better view of what it is without having to go park in front of a stranger's house to
stare.
I don't get the connection either.:gen08
I thought it was a spaceman before I saw this picture.

Well, I guess I'll have to find/watch that movie. I don't recall seeing/hearing about the "Bumble." Being 'just a kid,' too, I might just like it. In fact, while scanning the TV mag from the paper early this week, so I could mark things possibly worth watching, so I can just look, and toss it down again any given day, if I see nothing that I've marked.

Saw tonight that I'd forgotten to look earlier in the day, since I'm not a daytime TV watcher. Well, I'd marked an early movie, about 2-3pm, and didn't look early enough ... missed seeing "Veggie Tales" on regular TV! Since there are no kids here to have the excuse of having/watching them here, I wanted to see them on TV. Oh, well ... now that we know they do that sometimes (had never, ever before heard of VT on TV), I'll watch for it in the listings again ... then maybe have to set an alarm to remind me of it, huh? (My phone has reminders that you can have beep at you any given day in the calendar area.)

Oh how funny. I saw the picture and really got a giggle out of it. I knew who it was but I have never seen one in a yard yet.

The miner that Rudolph and the "elf dentist" meet up with when they are running away calls the Abominable Snowman a "Bumble".

Oddly enough I can't remember his name.

We watched this every year with our girls. It was nice to introduce a classic from my childhood to them.

Now Leisha has it on DVD.

That would be Yukon Cornelius -- I think.

One of my favorites, as well. I get the whole family to sit down and watch it with me every year. They tease me for liking it so much after all these years.....LOL But just wait, I'll be watching it with my grandchildren someday!!! HAHA
