View Full Version : Easy Chocolate/Peanut Butter Truffles

1 pkg Bakers Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tub of Kool Whip
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Microwave cholcolate 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute
Stir until melted
Stir in peanut butter
Cool to room temperature
Add in Kool Whip, gently
Refrigerate 1 hour
Scoop with a melon baller and roll in powdered sugar
Place in candy papers or on waxed paper
Refrigerate until serving

Makes 3 dozen

You can roll them in crushed pecans instead of the powdered sugar.

Maybe just a wee bit of butter could be added to that peanut butter, for a "real truffle" taste? Mmmmmmmmm!! Making me hungry. Have to make something sweet; haven't done so in a long time. This sounds sooo good! 'Let you know if I ever get them made. If not these, perhaps my "famous" peanut butter fudge that I've not made for a few years now. ;)

EDITED TO ADD: Hey! One could roll them in CINNAMON (straight, no sugar added), too! choco-cinnamon is a wonderful combo! Then there's COCOA, too, adding yet more CHOCOLATE!! ;) YUMMMM! I've got to make some now! Mmmmmmmmmmm .......
