it's sick - as in very - in repair shop - intensive care unit, I think.

I HOPE to get it back later today - and my life can return to a somewhat normal pace.

FACT: As remarkable and startling as this may seem, I have some very good friends, prayer partners - fellow members of early Tues Bible study group - who don't even have a computer. Can you imagine that!

Those depraved souls. How do they get along, I wonder!

:)

Till tomorrow - maybe

I am curious. If your computer was in the shop, how did you post on NazNet? I need to learn that trick.

ps - Isn't God good?!It won't be long before people in America will practically be forced to own a computer. Of course all of the young adults now have grown up with them in school and learning how to use them is not a problem. Where I work, they talked everyone into having their check direct deposited. Very few people elected to still receive a paper check. Then the company quit handing out the papers that tell you how much was on your check. Instead, you have to go on line. For those who don't have a computer, the company put computers in the break rooms plus there are lots of computers around the company. But lots of people who don't own computers, don't even know the basics on how to use them. It's a real inconvenience just to get payed.

Then they made it so that in order to get anything out of the company stockroom it has to be done by computer. For those of us in maintenance, we are getting parts out all day long. A lot of the middle age and older maintenance men don't know how to use a computer. To make things worse, the company put the stockroom on a program called "Oracle." It is a VERY slow, unfriendly program. It takes me 10 times longer to get parts now than it did before. I spend a major part of my time on the computer now and not doing my work. The guys who don't know computers are really struggling because they are forced to learn how to use a computer and a difficult program at the same time.

I wonder how long it will be before we have to send in our income tax and vote on line?

a) WHAT post? Are you sure you read it here?

b) Years ago, I had a Windows 98 - still got it - and used that to post here. (Some habits are very difficult to break)

c) I did not use any computer at all! I just imagined - saw it by faith and claimed it! BINGO!

I'm glad that it was just an old piece of metal (and other parts), and not your health that was causing no posts from you.

Welcome back....
