Does anyone have the recipe for "Make ahead" mashed potatoes? I think it involves cream cheese and some other ingredients.

We used this recipe for our Advent Dinner and our people seemed to enjoy it a lot.
It worked well for us.

Party Potatoes
5 lb potatoes, boiled, drained and mashed
8 Oz sour cream
8 oz soft creamed cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
2 Tablespoons butter
Mix all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in greased casserole.
OR put into greased crockpot and heat on high 1/2 hour, then turn down on low for two hours...until heated through.
I admit...I use more butter than that. LOL

My "single after 29 years recipe"
Go to your favorite store
Purchase Country Crock or other brand (come in a container like soft margarine)
Take home or to other location.
Unwrap
Microwave as directed
Season to taste
