I really like the "Mark Forums Read" option on our software. Clicking it is like a born-again experience--a fresh start, so to speak.

Is it possible to make the "Mark Forums Read" link specific to a forum? In other words, if I am in the Theology discussion board and click the "read" option, it will clear posts in all the forums. It would be nice if it cleared only the unread posts in the Theology forum. Likewise, the link in the Current Events forum would clear only posts in that forum. And, so on.

The "read" link on the page that lists all the forums could continue to clear all the forums.

I hope my question is clear.

You can do that.

On the forum main page click on the forum you want to show all read. For instance, click on "Forum: NazNet Theology Discussion."

Once you are on that forum's main page, to the right you will see a drop down link, "Forum Tools."

Click on it, and you will see the "Mark this Forum Read" link.

Ta-da!

Well, once again I am having to say: "You are right, Scott." I did what you wrote, and sure enough, Ta-Da! Thanks for the info.
