3 Fruit Punch

2 cups sugar
12 oz. can frozen lemonade
6 cans water
1 46 oz orange juice
1 46 oz. pineapple juice
1 2 litre gingerale

combine all ingredients except for ginger ale and refrigerate. Add ginger ale before serving.


Kitty's Punch

1/4 cup grendadine syrup
6 cups cranberry juice
46 oz can pineapple juice
2 litre gingerale

combine first three ingredients and chill. Add ginger ale before serving.

What is grendadine syrup? I never heard of that.

Have you ever been in a Chinese restaurant where they serve banana chunks in a red sauce? That is grenadine sauce or flavoring. It is a red, sweet flavoring. It is similar to cherry, but its own unique flavor.

grenadine is used for color and sweetening. Since you asked the question I looked it up and it is made from pomegranetes.

That should make a nice punch for a party or get-to-gether in January. I have an old punchbowl, without the cups and dipper that went with it. Also you can turn a cake dish up side down for a punch bowl. I happen to use organic sugar, and less of it now days. :basic03 Rosalie
