I have created a chart in excel. The chart is unique to itself as far as all of the editing I have done to it. Now, is it possible to set that chart as my default chart. Can I add it to the chart list?

I will need to create this chart 100 times with a different data series, but the same format. Such as fonts bold, font size, plot area colours, etc...

Any suggestions?

Yes. Do a "Save as" under file. In the window that opens, there will be a "Save as Type" dropbox menu at the bottom. Select template as your option. Save it where you wish, and you have it.

Thanks Michael, your way is much easier than mine. That allows me to save an entire worksheet as a default template. When I start excel that sheet comes up automatically.

How do I save only the chart as a default chart and have it as a choice when I pick a custom chart from the chart wizard.

You are welcome friend. I have learned a lot about Excel in the last couple of years.

BTW, is WOOT, WOOT, WOOT a Canadian thing? :basic01

Well, I have never herd it anywhere else on the face of the planet. Something our youth group groupie came up with one day last year while at a Christian Rock Concert.

I guess the US equivalent, or a cheerleaders chant, would be, Raw, Raw, Raw...

BTW, my boss is just elated at my computer skills! How did you figure that out so fast? I told him God blessed me with a good brain, and friends around the world!

Thanks again Michael
