Well, we have NazNet Community back up and operating. I know that there are other parts of NazNet yet to restore, but I wanted to get the forums going first. I am pleased to see that I was able to save the data -- that was touch and go for awhile! Anyway, I'll be putting the rest of NazNet back together in the days to come.

Yes! More work than it should be -- and much more to do.
But it is working...I think!

It's getting better. No emails from the posts yet, but that will be on your long "to do" list, I'm sure.

You are very much appreciated! All of you are!
It is a little after 6 a.m. CST. Dwayne left nearly 30 minutes ago to drive to Baptist East Hospital WAY up in Memphis. A fellow minister is getting a heart pacer in this morning---Rev. Frank Stanifer. Remember him in your prayers. Thanks!

Hans, I dearly love your's and Hannie's photography. I save some of the most beautiful pictures that you post. I framed one a few years ago.

Scott,
Thank you for all you do...much above and beyond the call of duty! Hmmm...I think they should give you a 20% raise over your current salary! :basic05
Again, thanks.

I think some settings were defaulted back to originals and that is probably one of them. I'll look at the forums setting when I can, or you are welcome to look into it.
All the add-ons have to be reinstalled fresh -- so far, I have put the "thanks" back in, but all previous ones are gone.
Getting the database reinstalled was much more challenging than it should have been. Of course, it being over 2 gigs in size didn't help -- every time I had to try something different, it took between 20 minutes and an hour just to tell me it didn't work!

Scott, I think the settings for the smtp server naznet uses have gone. See the "e-mail options" under the "vBulletin options".

Oh dear. That is indeed one of the main problems with this kind of trouble - the waiting takes so much time.

Thank you, Scott, for making and taking the time to get NazNet Community back running. It is a huge project, and I kind of know about those long and frustrating hours. Your dedication and perseverance is appreciated by all of us.
Of course, the other moderators and behind-the-scenes workers are loved and appreciated, too.
When the forums go down, though, it is the front-line workers like Scott and Hans that deserve the kudos and expressions of appreciation!

That is a great suggestion Cindi, but while we are at it why don't we just double Scott's salary. He deserves at least twice what he makes.

Praise the Lord He has given Scott the ability to do what needed to be done. I felt cut off and isolated from my family. You can be glad it was not left up to me.

Well, we can take that request into consideration, provided it is submitted according to the standard procedures, of course :basic03

You get salary and a vacation - you can't be a Nazarene pastor then (just joking). Thank you for all your hard work. It really is appreciated!
