It's like a waste of clean water anyway to flush something that doesn't need flushing.

Interesting that you should post this.

Several month ago, one of the toilets in the men's room where I work was stopping up routinely. This went on for about 3 weeks.

I only heard yesterday what happened.

It seems that when the plumber removed the toilet and checked the drain pipe, he found an unexpected item.

It was someone's pager!

What a doofus!

I'll have to share this with one of my coworkers. He is a retired municipal employee from a city in the southern part of the state. His job was in the city sewage treatment plant. This guy can spend a whole lunch hour talking about crawling down into holes in the ground with terrible things at the bottom, etc. And he actually makes it intereseting.

I hope this doesn't make me a redneck, but I don't use dental floss in the first place, only my tooth brush and an occasional toothpick.
