According to John 1:8, Jesus came "to make the Father known."

Join me and look for ways in which Jesus has shown us through his own behavior rather than through his verbal teaching, something of what the Father is like; and then document where in the OT that God the Father behaves in the same kind of ways.

(Okay, in the spirit of full disclosure I need to say that I am doing this for an assignment. I am having fun with it and thought others might like to join in. Of course, if you find an illustration I have not found, I will give you full credit:fav18)

So this can be a real life example with an OT cross reference?

... something of what the Father is like; and then document where in the OT that God the Father behaves in the same kind of ways.

This is like the game "Boggle." A correct answer would be easy but finding one you don't have is another story...

Here's a sample:
Luke 7:11-14 & 1 Kings 17:19-22
