Joyce and I were able to see Mark Lowry Thursday evening in Huntington. We were part of a group of maybe 10 people that got to spend intermission with him backstage. We have seen him several times, both solo and with the Gaithers. I really enjoy laughing at/with him, but I think I am even more moved by his music.
A group from South Carolina called Lordsong appeared with him, and their accompanest on the piano was Stan Whittmire. It was a very enjoyable evening.
