Puppy Bowl???

Okay, I like puppies. I love puppies. But this was really silly.

Animal Planet channel had "Puppy Bowl" on today. These puppies were in an enclosed area decorated like a football field with fake spectators in painted-on stands and canned crowd noises.

You watched the puppies play "up and down" the field. They had instant replays with "sports announcers." I guess whichever puppy crossed the end zone made a touchdown???

I watched a few minutes and wondered why anyone would waste two hours watching puppies play....and who wasted their money producting this silly program.

I think it is because the superbowl is on and Animal Planet knows that no one would be watching their channel, maybe?

I mean, I LOVE dogs and puppies, but even I thought that was kind of stupid.

AND, to add to it -- they televised the same program something like 3 times!!!
