Jim Franklin

was held at Nampa, ID College Church this afternoon. What a Holy Spirit filled service. There was a lot of God filled living in that hyphen. Just like I have requested for mine, it ended with the Hallelujah Chorus. When I sold suits at JCPENNEY I had sold Dr. Johnson a couple of suits and others in the family in this area. Dr. George Lyon, Dr. Ron Kratzer, Rev. Chuck Hagemeier, Pastor Daryl Johnson and our own NazNetter, Rev. Bob Manley all participated. I did not know that the B, in his name stood for Benjamin so afterwards when I spoke to him I said, "Dr. as a spokesman of the Franklin family, I question your dropping Benjamin for just B." and he said 'there is a story behind that that I will have to tell you some time." Dr. Lyon nearly brought the house down when he told that Dr. Johnson enjoyed committee meetings while Kathryn did not as well as Dr. Lyon and then said if we get to some place after our demises and find out that there are committee meetings there we will know we are in the wrong place. The Johnson's daughter, Lois Van Hooser was our district NMI president for a number of years and I, as a delegate, really enjoyed how she conducted District Missionary Conventions. Very creative.
