Mexican Dip

My SS teacher's wife made this. There is not really a recipe but here goes.


8 oz. cream cheese
1 jar salsa
grated cheese
green onions


Let cream cheese get to room temperature and soften. Spread cream cheese on a round tray or plate. Top with salsa - enough to cover the cream cheese. top with grated cheese. Add other toppings to your taste...anything you would put on a taco. Serve with tortilla chips.

Here's another variation that I use:

Spread on a pizza pan:

1 can of refried beans
Top with 16 oz sour cream blended with 1 pkg Taoo Seasoning
Top with shredded lettuce
Top with a mix of chopped onions and chopped tomatoes
Top with shredded cheese
Decorate with black olives

Serve with tortilla chips or Fritos scoops

Actually, I have used the blend of sour cream and taco seasoning as a chip dip and our teens gobble it and ask for the recipe.
