This is not a receipt but a recommendation. Go to frozen at your grocery and get a frozen Key Lime Pie made by Edwards Baking Co from Suwanee Geo. It is awesome and they even have scripture on the outside of the box! Dribble a little red raspberry sauce on the pie, or fresh berries and some mint! Its Heaven folks! LOL

Blend jello with boiling water(YES, only 1/4 cup)

Chill 4 hours
You can decorate with fresh berries, if you like.

Edward's Chocolate Cheesecake is wonderful, too! And no, Barb, it's not sugar-free. And it's just LOADED with fat.
Total indulgence!

I bought an Edwards key lime pie today. I have never had key lime pie before. I'll try it tomorrow. I couldn't find any raspberry sauce but I have some raspberry jam I think I can thin down a bit.

(Unconfirmed Trivia)
I heard that "Key Lime" refers to a particular species of Lime so named because it they came from the Florida Keys.
The trees were destroyed by a storm. An entirely different lime species was imported. So there are still limes coming from the Keys so in that sense they are Key limes, but they aren't actually of the species called, "Key Lime."
Not important, but I find this kind of trivia interesting...

I'll sometimes buy a bag of those rather than regular limes ... about the same/# as the regular ones. They seem to be a wee bit more tart, plus they're definitely smaller than regular limes. It's fun, tho', trying to juice one of those tiny limes on the juicer ... tho' they're usually used for other things. ;)

When I visited my cousin in San Diego, she had kumquats. I had heard of them but had never seen or eaten them before. They were good. I asked my grocery store manager why we didn't have them up here. He didn't have an answer for me. I'm not sure he knew what they were. I didn't know how to spell them to write this post so I looked up citrus fruits on google.

There are several kinds of citrus fruits I had never heard of and even more that I had heard of but have never seen or tried. I guess that is one of the down sides of living in a small town in the upper midwest.
But we have Wisconsin cheese and Iowa corn feed beef, pork and venison.
