Pictures really can't convey the beauty and the vastness of this purple carpet of flowers, but I tried anyway.

On Friday of last week, I got a new camera, a Canon EOS 60D! I'm so excited to take my photography to the next level. I have so much to learn and it's all a little overwhelming at the moment, but also a new adventure for me.

I just returned from a nice evening talking about my 1,000+mile Idaho hike. I was at a UM church nearby, but I've given this talk more than a dozen times at various churches, schools, and outdoors clubs.

It occurred to me while driving home that this might be a kind of inspirational/theological tool I could use at other Nazarene churches outside Idaho. But I wonder what that would look like. Any thoughts?

I'm itching to go out and take pictures, but there's just no time!!! We'll be on vacation for about 6-7 weeks this summer, so I hope to take thousands of pictures -- can't wait!! Places I have not been since childhood!!

If anyone is taking some fun pictures -- share them with us, will you? I'm sure Dave will be sharing pictures from Peru in the coming weeks.....but are there any of YOUR world that you can share????
