What a wonderful film. A documentary of the first year for four babies - from Namibia, Japan, Mongolia, and San Francisco - from first breath to first steps. No dialogue, just the children in relationship to their families and environment.

It is so enjoyable, with so many precious moments, and such a statement of what we all share.

Strongly recommended.

This movie was exactly what I was hoping for- 90 minutes of action with 10 minutes of dialog and plot development mixed in. For those not a fan of gratuitous violence, you'll probably want to skip this one. However, if you've ever been into Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Steve Austin, Jet Li, or Terry Crews, to name a few, you'll probably enjoy this. Statham, Stallone, Li, and Austin are all guys whose movies have been a point of interest for me, and as such I was very impressed with the nuances in the cinematography and choreography. Each of the actors' "signature" styles were incorporated into their individual fight scenes, and in instances where 2 or more were involved, there was a healthy balance of the two. In all, if these actors' movies are your thing, this movie will most definitely be your thing as well.
