    "Synchronization Complete"

    Oh, really? Synchronization with what? Does Windows 7 save some of your stuff in some cloud (hear about those a lot lately) without your telling them to do so, or not to do so?

    Yes, this message just appeared down in the RH corner a couple minutes ago.

    Hmmm ... ???

    ~~~~~~~
    BTW, just recalled, as I clicked to post this, that Norton's trial says it has an on-line saver place, not just the AV protection, etc. I ignored it, told it to go away ("remind me later," think it was, that was the option other than to click "OK" to do it). Figured no need to use it, since it says it's only a 30-day trial anyway. Then you either lose it, or pay them. So, we'll try DropBox again, now that we have a PC again.
    Would Norton do that, anyway, whether or not you told it to? If so, that is not kosher. Hmmm .....
    Re: "Synchronization Complete"
    Note popped up again just now, nearly 3 hrs later .................... ???
    OK, I googled. It said that there's a "Sync Center" in Control Panel. Went there. It said:
    "You have no sync partnerships set up on this computer.
    Click Set Up New Sync Partnerships to get started."
    Well,then with what/whom is it supposed to be completing this "syncing" that keeps saying it has completed?? Hope it's not some hacked-into thing that is not supposed to be there. Really weird!
    Re: "Synchronization Complete"
    OK, this time I either noticed something that was there before that I did not notice before a couple of times, or there are a couple of things synchronizing. This time I noticed that the particular note popping up now (8:30p+) had the silhouette of an elephant on it ~~ don't recall seeing that the couple of times before, tho', really! ~~ which is the Evernote symbol. I have put a few notes in there today, so that is perhaps what it all was about. Hope so!
    ETA: didn't have Evernote on the last PC; only learned of it while using it on my tablet, as it was one of the note-taking apps in the tablet's app line-up.
