Over the past few years, I've seen many of my smaller commercial accounts cancel because the owners simply closed up shop. Since early summer this year, I've done new insurance policies on nearly a quarter of those closed businesses because they have felt confident enough to re-open. Today's only Tuesday and my weekly commercial quote count is already at 4. Of those, 2 are brand new owners of small local businesses.

I'm on salary (not commission) -- so my joy is not for myself. It's good to see positive things happening in the community!
