I noticed a horrible type on one of my posts. I could not find how to click on my individual post to edit the typo.

Has the forum changed or is there still a way to change the thread view?

There's an edit button at the bottom of your post -- you probably have to scroll down a bit to see it. I just edited one of my own posts that way.


(this is the edit: It's right below your post. I don't know why you wouldn't have one.... after you fix the post, there's a save button at the bottom.) There's also a little box where you can type WHY you edited your post. I'm doing that, as well, so you can see it.

Hmmmm... I see it on this particular post, but the one I was viewing earlier did not seem to have it. Maybe after a certain period of time, they disappear. I'll check again later. Time to go back to work.

Yes, they do disappear after a given amount of time ... think last I heard it was something like 24 hours? Perhaps Scott/Hans will let us know the time window during which something can be edited.
