I was surprised to learn that there are pyramids and mummies in Peru. I saw some of both.
As we studied the ancient religion of Peru, I was astonished at the similarities in belief of the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Peruvians. They had a very similar view of after-life.
Then, as I was visiting a museum in Peru, I saw an identical head piece that I saw in Egypt.
In the various temples in Egypt there were many depictions of the Egyptian God, Amun. He always wore a headpiece with two conical parts.
In the musem in Lima, they had a head piece that was worn by an Inca. It was hidden from the Spanish by a Peruvian family and only recently donated to the museum.
The head piece seems identical to the one worn by Amun. Could there be some kind of connection between the ancient Egyptians and the Incas?
