Bit overwhelming all those albums at once , Dave . So decided to do one a day .
Thought I'd post my comments at the end but have too many from that first one to even think of doing that .
Beautiful flowers at that Larco Herrera Museum . Never heard of it before and it is so extensive . Loved all the flowers especially the purple ones .Thanks . Interesting artifacts as well. Never seen anything like them .All those elaborate water bottles .Wow ! That gold art made me sad to think so much of it was lost with the Spaniards melting it down . Also appreciated your comments .Made things even more interesting to have an idea of what was being viewed .

Great pics Dave. Just a note....Day 8 has day 7's pics attached (so there are no day 8 pics)

    Thanks for sharing

True. I made a mistake. Go to http://www.davemcclung.com, click on the photos link and look for Peru -- Day 8.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the pictures.

Loved that virtual trip , Dave . Did one a day till today as the last two were shorter .
Loved the flowers at Larco Harera museum .Lots of purple . I've never seen anything like what was at that museum .I found more interest when you described what was being viewed but I realize that is a lot of work so appreciated the ones you were able to do that for .
A number of times my screen went black when viewing an album so had to open a new window and try again . The worst one was Machu Picchu as it happened at least 5 times but I finally got to see them all and in the enlarged form not the smaller one . Day 2 was nearly as bad with 4 attempts to see them all.
Day 4 It looked like the passion fruit flower is purple . How nice . My cousin in Grenada really likes them and I have tried them because of her . They are OK .
Day 5 . There were so many massive churches . Made me wonder how filled they were for services .
Day 7 . Laughed at the photo that looked like a huge rock was on that man's shoulder . Noticed the purple flowers . It looked cool and rainy and there you were in shorts , Dave . You sure must be hardy .
    Day 8 . What a terrain . Those walking poles were sure a necessity . More purple flowers x 3 .
Day 9 More purple flowers and Starbucks ???
Manchu Picchu . There seemed to be so many people there . Quite the popular spot ,I guess . A lot more elaborate than I had ever imagined .What a lot of work . The llamas seemed quite tame .
Anyway , sure did enjoy my virtual trip . Thanks again , Dave .

You asked about the churches. The folks there are very Catholic. We were there on Good Friday, so the churches were filled. Many people came to Cusco for the Easter Services.

Know this isn't about Peru but the numerous times I scrolled through your albums looking for the Peru ones when my screen went black I spotted the Coulter one . Just had to go back and look at that as they were out pastors in the late 60s . Great to see them as they look today . Karen has barely changed at a ll.
Thanks for making them available .
