    Middle Elementary Resources?

I'm teaching the Middle Elementary Sunday School class at church and I'm trying to think of ways to find resources besides what is in the Middle Elementary Class resource packet that we get from the Nazarene Publishing House.

I am thinking about using my laptop to show short musical videos or other ways to make the class interesting to them in this technological world.

Can you help me with ideas and where to find the resources? I'm not wanting resources that will replace the lessons in the study packet, but something that will make the class interesting to them and that will enhance the class using my laptop.

I am currently not teaching a class, but have taught this age often. I think any time you can find a video clip of something that has to do with their lesson (whether from a movie, or from Youtube or GodTube.com or whatever), you will catch their attention.

One thing I do is use my iPod for Scripture reading. Whenever we've had to read more than 4 verses, we get out our Bibles to follow along as we listen to it read from a dramatic reading on the iPod.
Thanks Carolyn Franklin - "thanks" for this post
