Hannie and I spent 10 days in a very nice "villa" in the south of Spain. Though the weather was not as bright and sunny as I had expected, we only had a few mild showers and enough sun. It allowed us to do more than we had anticipated, that's of course the good side of it. Unfortunately, I got sick on the 3rd day, had to throw up everything (you sure feel lousy after that) and had high temps, but fortunately it all passed very quickly and after 2 days we were pretty much able to do what we wanted again.

I found something interesting though. If you go to Greece, almost any Greek you meet recognizes you for the foreigner you are and will attempt to speak English, or German. Not so with the Spanish. Very, very few speak anything else. So here I am, being fluent in Dutch, quite good in English and able to speak French and German, and I cannot communicate at all. I do not like that. So if I get back to Spain (and I might), it won't be without studying Spanish.

Of course pictures will follow in due time!
