With both the Yankees and the Rangers going 2 and 0 in their opposition's ball parks it's quite likely that we'll see them facing off next week for a trip to the World Series. It should be a terrific match up. The Rangers, I think are a bit stronger, but in October, the Yankees always turn it up a notch.

Who knows, the Twins or Rays might climb out of the deep holes they are in, but right now, most people are already looking forward to a classic October matchup between the Yankees and Rangers.

As a Texan, my heart is with the Rangers, although I'm not that much of a fan of theirs. I usually don't care what happens with the Yankees, but I'm a big fan of Lance Berkman who came in tonight and hit a home run and a double. I'd like to see him do well and make it to the big dance.

Either way, again, it'll be good October baseball!
