    Pictures of the AT

From time to time, I have shared some of my pictures of the Applachian Trail. I hike on the AT in Maine almost every year.

Well, yesterday I discovered the photo journal of a hiker who completed the entire AT this year. Without a doubt, his photo journal is the best I have seen. To get a feel for the entire AT, click on his "Archives" link.

For picutres of the Maine section of the trail where I hike, checkout is "September" link. The pictures will show you why I love that hike so much.

From a photography standpoint, I love the way this guy uses light. His pictures made me realize that I often fight the light. He knows how to use the light to his advantage. Even if you aren't interested in hiking, take a look at his journal to see some really creative photography.

Wow. That was my first though when I looked at his pictures. As I went through them, that changed to more of a "WOW".

    Thanks for the link.
Thanks Jeremy D. Scott - "thanks" for this post
