    Challenge: Fall Colors

Please post your favorite picture of THIS YEARS colors (No Archive shots please). I'm sure that someone has color around????

If you can provide the basic information from the shot.....shutter speed, f-stop, ISO,and why you used the combination that you did...

I know that some of you live where there really isn't any color change, so you'll just have to use your imagination and creativity...

    Re: Challenge: Fall Colors

I, my parents and my aunt spent the day in south central PA enjoying PA in Autumn. I took 114 pictures. Here are a few...

This was taken at the National Apple Museum in Biglerville, Pa in Adams County. I plan on putting more of those into a separate thread. I used the foliage setting, shutter speed was 1/250, AV 4.5 and ISO was 80.

This was off of Route 15 north in Adams County. The shutter speed was 1/400 and I used the sports setting since I was taking this was the car was moving. the AV and ISO was the same.

The next three were taken east of Littlestown, PA in Adams County near Hanover, PA. The UCC church there has many of my ancestors buried there. My aunt and I photographed 5 pairs of ancestors, some going back to the 1700s. While she explored tombstones, I snapped a few other shots. The speed is 1/80 and AV is 5.7, foliage setting and ISO was 80.

I am sure you meant color of the leaves, but we get some beautiful sunsets this time of year. These were taken tonight.

    Re: Challenge: Fall Colors

I got to see some nice fall colors in New Hampshire two weeks ago. I just have a point-and-shoot camera, so I don't think much about camera settings..

    Edwin,

Point and Shoot or more complex camera really makes no difference when you get quality pictures! I love the picture of the fog hanging over the water!

Here are a few that I took today. BTW, I took 158 pix on my walk today. I used the foliage setting on all of them.

    Re: Challenge: Fall Colors

Here are a few photos that I took yesterday here near our home in Northeast Texas. We don't have masses of color, so I had to be selective.

Just struck me that our trees have been quite bare for over a week now and you are getting such great pictures just yesterday , Cecil . Reminded me of when I used to visit my aunt who at that time was living in Florida. Went through several weeks foliage all in a day on those trips .

    Re: Challenge: Fall Colors

I posted some pictures under a post called "Ramsey Canyon," but here are a few more with the lovely Fall colors. These were taken in southern Arizona, just a few miles from Sierra Vista, and just north of Mexico.

I was using a new camera, and not being familiar with the camera, I did most shots on "Auto," so I don't know any of the specific details.
