Got into some freezing rain coming home tonight and got stuck several times trying to back up in my driveway to park beside my steps . Thankfully I made it into the house without slipping and falling .

Sitting in Tim Horton's relaxing and watching the snow fall here in Caribou. I'm spending the day doing the annual maintenance on tbe snow sleds. We are supposed to get between 7 and 9 inches. Looks to be great riding tomorrow!

Should be able to ride in the morning. All day working on sleds and I have two of them done and ready. The other one is waiting for parts.
Went to register the truck that I keep up here, only to find that non-residents can no longer use the registry in person. We must employ a Maine Statutory Agent to do this for us. So I found one and after a few hours of emailing, filling out forms and finding a notary, I've gotten it registered again. Next year it will be easier since I won't have to drive up here to get the renewal.
Snowed all day today, temps in the 20's. Looks like we got about 8" or so for a total of about 18" on the ground.

No snow here; it is cool though.... top temperature in the low 20's (celsius) lots of mistly drissle though with more rain forecast to be on the way.

I called back home last night and heard that it was almost 60 there. Sure glad that I can drive to where the snow is!
Next week should be lots of fun. I'm going to Florida to see my dad for a couple of days then when I get back I'm driving back to Maine. Should be a neat experience basking in the sun one day and riding snowmobile a couple of days later!

3 posts this time and mine got 11 hours and 14 minutes .
Didn't take too long to get the ice off the car ( 15 minutes ) but then the wheels spun on the ice and I couldn't get any traction . A man walking by tried to help ( ruined one of my scrapers ) and then he went across and got Steve who had some things to put under the front wheels . Took several times positioning them and his help pushing as well. Made it to church just in time but had to eat part of my breakfast on the way .

Nice day in the upper teens, low twenties. Took a nice leisurely ride covering every trail in the towns of Fort Fairfield, Presque Isle, and Easton. Stopped to talk with an older fellow over near the border. We talked for close to an hour, I love to talk with folks about where they live.
