Had a severe thunderstorm this evening . I was just opening the door to outside after our meeting when there was a nearby crack of lightning . Really startled me !

My cousin is a band director in Indiana. He said the band went out for practice and then quickly marched righ back in.

None here ... Just purple crocuses/crocii? Tulips trying, like Marg said. About three inches a day or two ago, will be right back(!) ... well, one about 4", a couple 5-6", but the rest are still stubby 3"-ers ... different varieties, plus possibly needing water, so C U later.

Snowing today with a prediction of 1 to 2 feet down to the 1500 foot level. Thursday the weather was in the 70's. Crazy California weather.

So today, in the NE, it was 70. It reminded me a lot of my aunt's california weather. When I talked with my aunt who lives in Poway she said "we are having the winter rains." weird!

You know I have never been a night owl until apparently there is nothing to do during the day. I am learning a whole new lifestyle. It been very interesting. I can see why quite people would like to stay up late cause it is quite nice when everybody else is in bed.

Yeah it was actually more of the fact that I ran out of the majority of my meds which help me relax and fall asleep. So I have had to make adjustments to my sleeping schedule. I tend to have trouble falling a asleep and then staying asleep. My mind start to have panic attacks when I am in the process of falling asleep due to nightmares. It can get bad if I am not careful. I have found that watching TV on the couch has a way of taking my mind of the anxiety that creeps up so I find it easy to fall asleep with it on even if the sound is turned down some. Talk about psychological effects. Somethings you just have to make adjustments for.

I prefer the night hours awake . I worked the night shift for so many years and I was quite adjusted to it . This works great for me except on Sundays .
