Temp 20º with a wind chill of 9º. Freezing rain starting soon and to continue till about noon tomorrow and then more snow . We have had so much freezing rain this winter and I am not happy about that . Keeps me from getting into my car and when I do it takes forever before I can head out . Not to mention it can be real slippery underfoot .

Back in the office again..... Acted as an Advocate for a lady dealing with a Government Department, and then I visited three different people in two different hospitals ...... feeling rather drained at the moment..... time to break out the "Nescafe" I think!
Current temp here 21º with a wind chill of 10º. About 12 hours from now I get to face all that ice and see if I can even get into my car. Not looking forward to that .

Hi again.....
Saw something unusual on my way out to a healing service at the Base hospital....
It's raining once again, and a flock of 5 black parrots had taken up shelter under our back patio..... they flew off of course as soon as I went outside. Wish I had a camera with me at the time.

Things were fine even though I went out early just in case . The temp apparently reached 35º Wednesday and with the sun must have melted things . The door was a bit stuck but opened after a brief delay . Believe me I was very grateful .

Don't you wish that there was a device that could capture that picture without a camera, just think it and it would be there! I know that I have.
I was talking with my brother and law last night, he is an outdoorsman and a hunter, about snowmobiling, survival and generally outdoors type of things. At one point as we were talking he said, "you talk about these animals as if they were commonly seen, do you realize how few people have actually seen a wolf in the wild?" to which I replied "never thought about it that way, I just saw a wolf on Saturday over near the border." So I'm thinking of investing in a video camera that attaches to my helmet, that way I may be able to capture some of the things that have amazed me.
Still I wish there was a way to capture in image immediately by just thinking it at the proper time. Takes too long to get the camera out, only to capture the shot where the animals once were!
