It was -5 here this morning, which is fine with me. But I have the family with me, so we will be taking the truck into town this morning for breakfast. Hopefully it will warm up early enough for a nice ride before the clouds roll in. Although the warmer temperature usually comes with the clouds, oh well, we will see.

Sitting in a diner in Fort Kent, looking across the bridge to Canada. It doesn't look like it is any colder over there than here.
I think they sell maple syrup over there. Lot,s of advertizing for it, they have flags everywhere with maple leafs on them.

Ah, snow, beautiful snow. We had light snow yesterday, today we are having a decent dose of winter wonderland style snow.
Lost an entire day yesterday, somehow I managed to get a bout of food poisioning, which I've now narrowed down to a chicken fajita.
So I got to enjoy some quality time in our newly remodeled bathroom. All told it took 18 hours to fully purge my stomach. I don't think that I've ever experienced agony like this before. Then again the last time I threw up was 28 years ago, my wife says that I'm just not used to it and should consider myself blessed. I think that I'll take her advice since I'm now fresh as a daisy and ready to go riding once the snow stops.

Current temp is 26º with the wind chill at 18º. Snow hasn't started yet but is still coming . Morning commute was supposed to be rough but now it'll be later . A friend's husband had to take a drivers test today ( mandatory at 80 ) and it was for 9 this morning .He's been worried all week he won't pass and bad weather would make it harder . My friend said she couldn't take another week of what she's gone through this week if it got cancelled . lol

No actually I think the culprit was bad meatloaf. But after that for some reason I have had trouble eating more than 2 eggs at a time. Which is probably more psychological for some reason, but have yet to figure it out.
