    M11 Booth

There have been several comments here and elsewhere about the NazNet Booth at M11. Some of you may wonder about my opinion.

My goal for the NazNet Booth was to demonstrate that NazNet is "Nazarene Friendly." At the time I signed up for the booth, they were having a lot of difficulty getting exhibitors. So, I think we accomplished that goal.

I informed those in charge of the exhibits that the NazNet Booth wouldn't be fully manned. That is the reason we were placed in the very back.

I didn't give the booth my full attention, because I had a number of other things going on. Linda and I sponsored the ENC Gospel Choir's attendance, so that was our first priority. The Gospel Choir was a big success.

All in all, we were pleased with the conference and with our level of participation.

Will we have NazNet booths at future events? Probably. Although I doubt that NazNet got any significant benefit from the booth, we contributed to the overall success of the event. That is enough to justify continuing to support the denomination.

    Dave,
Thanks for your contribution to the M11 event, this site, and our denomination. I have definitely benefited from it. I stopped by the NazNet booth a couple times, and while no one was there, I appreciated the fact that there was a presence. And thanks for sponsoring the ENC Gospel Choir, they didn't just perform, but came and ministered to many.

Dave, lot of time i was at the booth when you and linda was gone I did stay for long peroid of time because i would get restless just sitting there but one lady from Chiupus Mexico that stop by the booth and introduce her self. But the trouble was she only spoke spanish and I had trouble reading her lips but she was teacher at a Nazarene school in Mexico. One reason I would sit at the booth I was hoping I would get to met other nazneter.
    Thanks

Dave, I obviously don't know about the booth at M11, but if the booth at the 2009 GA was anything to go by, I felt it was very useful.

Acknowledging your many influences for which we are grateful, thank you especially for the gospel choir sponsorship. They have seen an aspect/side of the COTN they likely would not otherwise have experienced - and that is good. I'm confident they were a blessing, but it was a two-way street.

In purely selfish terms, I'm glad I got to meet you and Linda, and see Ryan again.

I saw that booth and wondered what had happened. The House Studio doesn't go to many conferences, but if it looks like you're not going to make the next one and we are, I'll be happy to set up any materials like posters, brochures, etc. Just let me know.
Thanks Dave McClung - "thanks" for this post
