    NFL Preseason games

Post comments regarding NFL pre-season games.

    Impressions? Disappointments? Analysis? Predictions?

I was impressed with the Pats, but then they were playing the Jags. I was also pleased to see Tim Tebow have a pretty good outing, that may silence some of his critics for a while.

Michael Vick is going to be sharp this year, I can just see it. The Eagles are going to be very tough! He'll be my fantasy pick for QB

Vick's my keeper. I picked him up via free agency last year as soon as Kolb went down.

Vick will not be as good as last year. Teams won't have 2 years off from seeing him. They'll have a year's worth of film to study and prepare for him. Teams started beating him bad towards the end of the year.

As far as preseason goes... I don't care at all.

The Lions were 4-0 in the preseason the year they finished 0-16. Preseason is just practice against other teams. It's nothing.

I don't know about that, there are some pretty fierce competitions going on out there for starting positions. It's nice to get a look players and see how offensive systems are coming together.

I won't take Vick at QB . He's too much of an injury liability, and having to use a backup for 5 weeks last year killed me...

As far as preseason goes, I'll probably pay closer attention around the first half of week 3's games. The local station plays the Pats (obviously), and I don't think Brady or OchoCinco even got one rep in yesterday. The Eagles-Ravens game finished 13-6 last night, which is probably not how the Eagles are going to win games this year. The only question I can really see getting answered right now is whether Alex Henery can serve as an adequate replacement for David Akers... and live up to being drafted in the 4th round as a kicker .

I'm mainly focused on the Ravens. The O-line does not look sharp at all and I'm skeptical about the receiving corps. with the loss of Heap and Mason. The recent addition of Evans might help bring along Smith and Doss but I'm not holding out a lot of hope for this year, especially if the O-line continues their problems from last year.

Well Ben, I know preseason means nothing to you, but I think it confirmed what we already knew about Chad Henne, this guy is doomed. He threw 7 passes and two picks. Holy cow, he needs a one way ticket of of Miami ASAP! Preseason does mean something...

No, lol. Because we already knew this about Henne. If he was performing great, we would still know he sucks.
