Palm Sunday is Vonnegut's version of a memoir or an autobiography. He narrates what is mostly previously published essays and forms them into a kind of life story, one which gives the reader a picture of his life and his thoughts about life in general. There is a lot of insight into the man as a person and as an author - sort of like a commentary track on a DVD.

There's some good stuff here, but more for fans of his writing than for fans of writing in general.
